The Shifting Sands are populated by the ‘Echoes’ – remnants of Asemians who were caught during The Unraveling. They exist in a state of perpetual flux, their memories and personalities fractured and distorted. Some are benevolent guides, offering cryptic advice, while others are predatory entities, feeding on the chronal energy of travelers. Legend speaks of the ‘Heart of the Sands,’ a massive Shard said to hold the key to restoring Asemia to its original state, but its location remains lost to time and the shifting currents.
The Chronomaestros and the Art of Resonance

This knowledge led to the creation of ‘Chronal Weaving,’ a practice that allows skilled individuals, known as Chronomaestros, to manipulate the flow of time within localized areas.
