Entry 845.9 – The Paradoxical Bloom
Cycle 190.5 - Iteration 91
The *Janthina cerat-* colonies are exhibiting a phenomenon we’ve termed “Paradoxical Bloom.” The crystalline structures are not only mapping temporal distortions but actively *creating* them. Localized time loops are forming, trapping objects and even small organisms within their confines. Our research team, designated ‘Project Nightingale,’ has successfully deployed a series of miniature chronometers within these loops – the data is… unsettling. The loops aren’t stable; they are constantly shifting, creating new distortions, and collapsing in on themselves. There appears to be a central point – a nexus – where the loops converge. We’ve identified this nexus in Sector Gamma-9. The *Janthina* colonies surrounding the nexus are exhibiting a heightened luminescence, pulsing with an almost unbearable intensity. The Cerat-Omega variant is absent. The entire situation is deteriorating rapidly. Containment efforts have failed. The ROV, Triton-7, has been fully recovered. Its final transmission was a single, repeating image: a perfect, rotating sphere of cerulean light. We are initiating Protocol Omega. All personnel are to evacuate Sector Gamma-9 immediately. This is not a drill.
