1789 - Recovered from the ruins of Aethelgard. This device, constructed from brass and quartz, is believed to have been used by Silas Blackwood himself. Analysis suggests it was capable of generating a localized temporal distortion – enough to age a ripe apple in a matter of minutes.
1822 – A larger, more sophisticated arrangement of obsidian cubes discovered in the abandoned mines of the Silver Peaks. Preliminary readings indicate a sustained temporal field was generated here, possibly used for… something. We’re still not entirely sure.
